Bardzo rzadko spotykane kolumny ESS Audiophile H320.

Trójdrożne kolumny z przednim podwójnym bass-reflex.

Historia tych kolumn jest dosyć ciekawa. Budowane we Włoszech w latach 1990-2000 przez inżyniera Egli Marchese (audiophile.it) niedaleko Wenecji, który w tych latach był oficjalnym dystrybutorem firmy ESS Labs U.S.A.  na rynek europejski oraz konstruował własne kolumny bazujące na technice i wzornictwie ESS. W zasadzie budowane głównie na zamówienie. Konstrukcja na oryginalnych głośnikach ESS posiada bas 200mm, średniotonowy 130mm oraz tzw. „mały” HEIL AMT wysokotonowy z regulacją mocy. Moc całkowita 150W, zakres częstotliwości 40-22000HZ, 91 dB/W/m.

Zwrotnice są autorskie na podstawie modyfikowanych zwrotnic ESS.

Obudowy posiadają niewielkie ślady użytkowania, rysy, nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że dźwięk jest rewelacyjny.

Mały wyciąg z opisu producenta: The upper midrange is HEIL's famous TRANSFORMER, a speaker still unrivaled in its frequency range. Its speed (15 ms rise time to the square wave) and consequently its fidelity to the original sound is still unapproachable today. The high efficiency, the superlative dynamics, the low distortion, the high power handling, the large emission surface allow it to reproduce medium frequencies with instant attacks and with astonishing realism. Every minimal vibration emitted by the instruments is reproduced adequately, providing you with details never heard before, without the typical masking of all traditional systems, even very expensive ones. Through the reading of microinformation and echo, the environment is reconstructed in its three dimensions. Its wide horizontal dispersion (120°) fills the room with music, avoiding the listening fatigue typical of directional speakers. It has the typical transparency of membranes but does not have the typical defects: poor dispersion and low efficiency. To follow the wide dynamic range of the AMT, special very fast, efficient woofers with exceptional power handling have been developed. The carefully designed crossover uses gentle slopes to avoid phase shifts and energy gaps at the crossover point, which give a sensation of hardening and compression in transients, and uses quality capacitors to avoid sound degradation. Particular care was taken in the construction of the cabinet, using MDF and solid wood of considerable thickness to avoid resonances, reducing the front surface to a minimum and rounding the corners to avoid destructive reflections and cancellations in the off-axis response. Thanks to their high efficiency and definition, they can be easily driven by small valve amplifiers for pleasant listening at the low volumes often imposed by modern apartments, thanks to their power handling they can easily withstand the strong current peaks of powerful amplifiers in the solid, expressing itself in explosive undistorted peaks, absolutely incredible for speaker systems of this size. Their transparency will allow you an environmental reconstruction and a positioning of the instruments in space comparable only to large electrostatic and isodynamic systems. Being extremely faithful to the original signal, they are suitable for any type of music.
