Feliks Topolski "Fourteen Letters."
Painter, illustrator, caricaturist, illustrator, set designer. He was born on August 14, 1907 in Warsaw, died on August 24, 1989 in London.
Feliks Topolski was a reporter on many fronts during the World War II, painting battles involving British troops, war convoys, and the formation of General Anders' Polish army. During the Battle of Britain he was in London, documenting the war. He was wounded in 1942. He was present wherever something was happening. At the request of "Illustrated London News" he traveled to Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and later also to Asia, where he visited India, China and Burma. He took part in a convoy to Arkhangelsk and also reached Kuibyshev - from everywhere he sent his recipients images that stimulated the imagination.
