Skrótowy opis z sieci:
"The YAMAHA DMC 1000 all-digital recording console-definitive control over your project
Features
All-digital
All recording and mixdown operations are performed in the digital domain. Signals are digitized before entering the console, and stay digital all the way to the final product. The DMC1000 extends the digital chain from audio source to finished product, eliminating the distortion and noise penalties of multiple DA and AD conversions.
Total automation
All channel parameters are automated. The on board timecode referenced computer automates EQ, pan, aux sends, bus assignments, etc., . The smooth motorized faders and the indicators on the DMC1000's rotary encoders give an instant visual indication of the state of the console at any time.
All popular digital input/output formats on-board
Input/ouput formats are provided for connection to other professional digital multirack and two-track recorders. S-DIF2 and ProDigi (Melco) formats as well as in Yamaha format AES/EBU format. The DMC1000 will slave to any incoming word-clock frequency between 32kHz and 48kHz (+/-10%).
Configuration
It can be regarded as a twenty-two input console, with ten busses and four aux busses. It is configured in the following way: eight mono input channels, three stereo input channels, eight monitor channels, eight program busses, one stereo bus, and four aux busses.
Channel features
It employs linear 100mm touch-sensitive, motorized faders on the fourteen input channels. During automated mixdown, these touch-sensitivity of the faders means that only those faders which are actually being moved are used to write level data. The eight monitor level have rotary level controls. Using a "flip" function, the functions of the linear channel fader and rotary monitor level control may be exchanged.
Bus assignment keys
Illuminated bus assignment keys for eight program busses are located at the top of each channel strip. An additional key allows a monitor channel to be assigned to a program bus in place of an input channel.
Digital pad
With the high bit resolution of the DMC1000, a digital pad providing up to 96dB attenuation (1.3dB steps) can be used with no degradation in sound quality.
Channel grouping and linking
Two channel groups are provided. When channels are assigned to groups, moving the fader of one channel in that group will automatically adjust the levels of all other channels in that group. Channels may also be linked, so that adjustments made to the EQ settings (for example) of one group will be reflected in the settings of linked channels.
External control
Either MIDI or RS-422 commands can be used to control the DMC1000's parameters. Industry-standard video editors and external computers can be used with the 9-pin D-dub RS-422 connector. The DMC1000's automation can be synchronized using external timecode. All SMPTE/EBU timecode formats are supported.
Compact size
The DMC1000 is extremely size-efficient when compared with other consoles offering the same number of inputs. With its internal power supply, it is compact enough to be transported using a small vehicle and set up on a table top.
